R Gluer - Standard Paper and Paperboard

The R Gluer applies water based glues with absolute precision to thin flexible substrates up to semi rigid materials to 1/8鈥� thick. With the Thick Board attachment option customers apply glue to paperboard up to corrugated and聽 other materials to 3/8鈥� thick. Laminating two paper substrates together is commonly referred to as 鈥淒uplexing鈥�. The R Gluer is the perfect machine for this application. It applies an extremely precise coating of water based glue to the surface of paper materials that are up to 1/8鈥� thick without applying glue to the sides of the paper. Printers duplex business cards and invitations to dramatically increase the quality and feel of the piece perceived value of printed piece Simple to operate, easy to clean. Available in roller widths of 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21 inches. The full load amperage requirement for the 120V R Gluer 聽is 6.4Amp/50-60Hz.

Materials laminated with water-based adhesives must be compressed. In some cases, the glued substrates must be held in compression until the glue bond has dried completely.
