Mosaic Tile is Bonded to Mesh with Either Cold Glue or Hot Melt Gluing Solutions.

*WATER BASED GLUING SOLUTIONS

Water Based glues are used to bond tiles to mesh materials and sample boards. These adhesives are especially good as they penetrate into the porous back surface of tile materials These can be applied in bead form from hand gluers and automatic gluers to tiles and sample boards but they must be held in compression for a significantly longer time than with hot melts.

Rollcoaters can apply water based glue to mesh material effectively
